Below a wooded hillside above the town of Prestatyn in Denbighshire, North Wales, St Melyd Golf Club is a mature parkland course with tree lined fairways and excellent greens. The Club is only some ten minutes from the A55 arterial expressway with Manchester and Liverpool within an hour’s drive and Chester only thirty miles away. Founded in 1922, St Melyd is a 9 hole course, but having 18 tees, it provides a different perspective for each hole as can be seen from our hole by hole guide.
The Course provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities who can be assured it is always presented in the best possible condition. The Club provides a warm welcome to members, holiday golfers and golfing societies alike in the spacious clubhouse with stunning views over the course towards distant Snowdonia. The well appointed lounge, Spike Bar and excellent restaurant caters for all tastes from bar snacks to celebration banquets catering for up to 120 guests.
