Coastal North Wales describes the stretch of coastline that runs from the Dee estuary in the East to Bangor in the West. With miles of sandy beaches, cliff top walks and bracing sea air. The mild coastal climate provides perfect conditions for year-round golf. True links courses hug the shore. Some, like Prestatyn, are so close to the sea that you could get your feet wet. Championship links courses like Conwy will test your golfing skills (and your nerves). Expect magnificent coastal views from the likes of Abergele, Maesdu and North Wales (Llandudno). All of our coastal courses are full of character – so they all offer a very different playing experience.

We often cater for older guests and have converted many of our en-suites to beautiful walk-in shower-rooms. Situated at the foot of the Great Orme in Llandudno, the Dunoon is the ideal ‘basecamp’ from which to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey and the coast. At the Dunoon we are unapologetically old-fashioned about what a hotel should offer. Food and wine are our passions and affordability our guiding principle.
