Course Type: Parkland
Set in stunning 247-acre of parkland and designed by former Ryder Cup player John Jacobs, Northop Golf Club is located (just off main A55) in the heart of Northop, Flintshire, and is considered amongst the most celebrated golfing venues in Wales.
Founded in 1994, the Northop Golf Club has hosted numerous amateur national events, the Welsh PGA Championship, the British PGA Championship, the Welsh Ladies Championship, and the first-ever European Challenge tour event to be held in Wales and currently is host to the PGA Cheshire & North Wales Open.
Well-known for its fantastic views, brand new clubhouse and top class golf and practice facilities, the course retains all the ingredients that brought about this success; USPGA greens that result in 365 day a year 18 hole golf, championship tees that provide a stern challenge of the golfers abilities. The Club’s extensive tee complexes, however, means that Northop can accommodate golfers of all levels.
You will always find a friendly welcome at the clubhouse which offers a comfortable relaxation after your golf with a fully stocked bar and tasty bar snacks. Great package deals for societies of all sizes are always available.
